I got to paint with Kind
My good friend Kind came to visit from Chicago and you know we had to paint together. This was a cool wall we did for the upcoming Paint Jam the Going All City Paint Jam. I was able to get a few clips of us painting to remember the moment forever and to bring you all on this little journey with us.
Street Rod Nationals/NSRA Nationals
Mary and I got to visit Colorado again to pinstripe and paint for a good cause. My buddies George and Kim Weldon put on (Weldon’s Panel Jam) A kustom culture gathering of Pinstripers from all over the U.S. and every year we paint panels to be auctioned off for a good cause. The show and auction is a part of the NSRA Rocky Mountain Nationals held at the Pueblo, CO Fairgrounds which is easily one of the biggest shows we attend every year. The panel jam has been going on since 2017 and I have attended every year since then. As you can probably tell Mary and I love to travel and its gratifying to us knowing we can visit these beautiful places and help out for a good cause. After the show we drove up to Manitou Springs and and enjoyed the cool weather with some coffee from the locals, ate some good food, drank water from the natural spring fountains (five fountains located in Downtown Manitou), and even got to play some Skee-ball at the Manitou Springs Penny Arcade. That town was amazing and I cant wait to go back. I will post another video of that soon.

This week in the shop
This week in the shop I had the Shop Truck for Hazel and Violet Letterpress Studio. It was such a fun project. An avocado green 1974 Ford truck. She wanted traditional lettering and wanted it to match the truck as well as her shops aesthetics. I did a simple serif style of lettering paired up with some italic casual for the bed of the truck as well as designing a cool little monogram style H&V design for the section behind the doors. Overall I am happy with the outcome and even happier to see the owner as happy as I was. The Rumble on Central 2017
I remember going to this event a couple years in a roll and setting up with my buddy Dave from Streets and Avenues Clothing Co. when I was pretty fresh in the Pinstriping World. It was cool to take a ride down memory lane today and look thru all the Pictures and the couple of videos I had. The event was put together by Kandy K. A pinup that was starting to get really popular here in Arizona. The reason you see all the zombies is because their happened to be a Zombie walk on central that same weekend.
25 Years Strong
Since this is our 25 Year as a crew we have all been going extra hard out there Painting, Traveling, and spending more time with the other chapters. This year we were approached by Artlink to put together a gallery show highlighting the 25 years as a Collective. The catch is we only had 4 weeks to put it all thogether and half of us were going to be in Texas for the 25 year Paint Jam already. that means we only had three weeks to come up with new artwork, clean out the gallery, paint the walls, and hang the show. Thanks to Robert (2Nice) Gentile we were able to get it all done with enough time to enjoy the show. I didnt get many photos but here is what I could steal from the internet. Thank you to everyone who came out and those of you who helped make it run smooth.
