Washington Workshop
On Thursday September 22nd we touched down in Washington ready for a great week of painting, eating new food, and of course the first ever Pinstriping workshop in Everett, WA. The workshop was held at Scuttlebutt Brewery on Cedar Road and it was a blast. With 14 students signed up I thought it was going to be a challenge for me to keep up but I had the help of my beautiful woman Mo and of course Hyper and Bri were an amazing help too. I didn’t want to have to bring a bunch of panels and paint on the plane with me so Hyper being the awesome brother he is offered to cut and make the plexiglass panels for the students to use in class. Every student went in not having a clue on how this class was going to be but every one of them got the hang of it faster than they thought. I am looking forward to having more classes out in Washington and who knows maybe even around the rest of the United States as well. Big thank you to Grimlock, and Big Ant for the amazing photos and to Scuttlebutt Brewery for letting me host this workshop in their building.
Going All City NW #2
We traveled to Washington to paint for the Going All City Paint Jam the first week in August and found out the wall Faust, Savvy, Huray and I painted was buffed due to some politics with the owner of the business not liking what we painted. We brushed it off but the beautiful people of Everett wanted us back to paint again and Scuttlebutt Brewery had the perfect wall for us. Thanks to Hyper and Bri Mattes we were able to come back for a Round 2 with two of our team members from Texas; Laced and Cease. We ended up deciding in our group chat that we would paint a comic book style piece of our alter egos being super villains. The wall was a hit and thanks to our good friends Big Ant, Grimlock, MoLov Photography, Melanni, and Socal Gal we were able to capture the whole trip with amazing photography and a cool Youtube video that will be uploaded real soon guys I promise. We even had time to visit some tourist spots in Seattle like the famous Space Needle, Pikes Place Market, The Gum Wall, and even had a chance to check out MoPOP Museum which is home to the worlds dopest pop culture experiences showcasing Hip Hop, Rock N Roll music and a whole lot more- definitely something you have to check out if you get a chance to visit.
I want to send a big shoutout to everyone who helped out with this giant project and it was because of everyone getting together for this that it was all possible. Thanks again from me and the rest of the Graff Aheloks.
